In the beginning you cry
Whenever sad songs played
Trying to prevent the tears
Ashamed someone will hear
Day after day you're lonely
You cry out silently
Can't get up and get back
Terrified to stay in the corner
Months passed until one night
Found you can smile through the songs
That hurt and brought you down
And can feel whole again
